Our Doctors

Our Doctors are registered medical practitioners experienced in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. They have had extra training and experience in the use of dermoscopic diagnosis of skin lesions as well as in the use of the latest proven treatments. They pride themselves on being knowledgeable, friendly and keen to answer any questions that you may have regarding your skin and skin cancer.

Dr Keir has had a strong interest in skin cancer for many years. Having had several skin cancers himself at an early age, Dr Keir completed a Masters in Family Medicine from Monash University, concentrating on Dermatology and has a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, where he is a Teaching Associate. He  holds a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine from the Skin Cancer Society of Australia,  and is a past Lecturer for the University of Queensland postgraduate skin cancer course. He is a member of the International Dermoscopy Society and the International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin. He is on the board of the Northern Rivers General Practice Network.

Dr Paul O’Brien has a strong interest in skin cancer, having had his own imaging equipment at his general practice. He has been involved in General Practice Education in skin treatment and holds a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine from the Skin Cancer Society of Australia and the Diploma of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine.
