About Skin Cancer
Below are links to information on the various types of skin cancer and skin cancer-related topics. The most common skin cancer-related lesion we see is the solar keratosis (a.k.a. actinic keratosis, "sunspot"), but the most common skin cancer we see is basal cell carcinoma (BCC), followed by squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and melanoma. For every melanoma we find, we see about 14 BCC's and 6 SCC's. There are some other rarer skin cancers as well.
